About: Bich Van Nguyen
Vietnamese-American singer-actress-songwriter Bich-Van was handed the mandolin by her grandfather when she was four. She started taking piano lessons at age five and singing at six, and has been performing ever since.
Previously trained at National Music Conservatory in Vietnam and at Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, Long Beach, California, Bich-Van recently graduated with a Masters in Musical Theater at New York University, and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy.
Bich-Van is one of the most sought-after Vietnamese vocalists in her genre, and has performed as a soloist with Asia Entertainment, the Vietnamese – American Philharmonic, the Ngan Khoi Chorus, and more. She is also performing in Opera, Musical Theater and stage productions, concerts and Christian events all over the world at prestigious venues such as National Music Conservatory in Vietnam, Kennedy Center (DC), Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center (NY), Segerstrom Center for the Arts (CA), Carpenter Performing Arts Center (CA), La Mirada Theater (CA), Rachel Schlesinger Concert Hall (VA), Marie Stéphane Concert Hall (Montreal), among others.
Notable roles include the Lead in the World-Premiere Monodrama “Count To Ten”, the Muse (Lead) in the Off-Broadway musical “A World Without Harmony”, Tuptim in “The King and I”, Kim in “Miss Saigon”, Christine in “Phantom of the Opera”, Cleopatra in Handel’s “Giulio Cesare”, Nannetta in “Falstaff” among others.
Bich-Van has released 9 studio albums up to date. Besides actively performing, she teaches piano and voice, coaches and music directs, with over ten years of teaching experiences, including two years in the Faculty of New York University.

Sean Buhr is a singer, actor, songwriter, producer and voice teacher based in New York City. The last two years he has been seen on stages such as The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center, 54 Below, The Signature Theatre, Skirball Center, Rose Theater, The Town Hall Theatre and Laurie Beechman Theatre among many others throughout the United States and Canada performing with artists like the New York POPS, Jeremy Jordan, Norm Lewis, Patrick Page, Scott Coulter, Rebecca Luker, Julia Murney and Stephen Schwartz to name a few.
Buhr is the founder, producer and director of the annual Desiring the Arts Festival in Iowa. The Desiring the Arts Festival was founded in 2012 and since then has hosted critically acclaimed artists/performers/designers from all over the world including India, Vietnam, Palestine and throughout the U.S.A.. Performers at DTA Festival have performed on stages such as Carnegie Hall, CMA Festival, Lincoln Center, Sergestrom Center, Rockefeller Center, Grand Ole Opry, The Kennedy Center among many others. DTA Festival is a platform to allow artists, performers, designers and more from across the world to showcase their work and connect to audiences in the rural areas of Iowa. Sean Buhr and his brother, Pat Buhr, founded the McSweeny-Buhr Scholarship for the Arts to help graduating high school students further pursue the arts at the collegiate level.
Besides a performer, director, producer, writer and philanthropist, Sean Buhr is also a sought-after professor and teaching artist. After he finished his dual masters program at New York University in New York City, NY he was a professor of voice at New York University for seven years and Drake University. He maintains a Voice Studio in New York City and Los Angeles along with a highly active Online Voice Studio. His clients are from all over the world and consistently has clients/students on Broadway, National Television, Hollywood Movies, National Tours and are Award Winning and Critically Acclaimed International Recording Artist, lead singers of Rock Bands, professional speakers for companies and serious aspiring artists.
